The Zone

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

The Zone is a coaching tool. Coaches use it to organize their team, plays, practices and games. This page explains in plain language what we store and how it is handled.

What we collect

  • Coach and staff accounts: name, email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
  • Team information coaches enter: player names, jersey numbers, grades, positions, evaluations, test results, snap counts and homework results.
  • Football content: plays, playbooks, practice plans, game logs and scouting notes.
  • Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as error logs.

Players do not create accounts. Player homework links show only that player's own assignments.

Coaches control the data

Each team's information is visible only to the coaches and staff the head coach invites. Head coaches can edit or remove players, revoke share links and remove staff at any time.

We do not sell data

We never sell or rent personal information, and we do not use player information for advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted hosting and database providers to run the app. If you use play scanning, uploaded images are processed by an AI provider only to read the plays.

Deletion on request

A head coach can delete a team and its data in the app. Anyone — including a parent or guardian of a player — may ask us to delete information by emailing miltoncopeland1981@gmail.com. We will respond promptly.

Children

The Zone is intended for use by adult coaches. Information about young athletes is entered and managed by their coaches. Parents or guardians with questions can contact us at any time.
